This blog post is an exciting one... #TeamSR Christmas Weekend in Amsterdam!

Our Christmas adventure began with a 30-minute flight from our head office in Norwich to the beautiful city of Amsterdam. We touched down and made our way to the Clayton hotel, and after getting ready, we kicked our evening off with a wonderful team dinner, setting the tone for a fantastic weekend. Following our meal, we had our Christmas party at Escape nightclub, dancing the night away!

Eager to explore, we started our first full day with a big breakfast before splitting into groups to take on Amsterdam's attractions. Some of us delved into the local Christmas markets (last-minute Christmas shopping!), while others visited the captivating art at the Moco Museum, featuring masterpieces, including Banksy etc…

We saw the day out with an evening spent on a beautiful canal boat, indulging in a three-course meal while admiring Amsterdam's glittering Christmas lights. The boat travelled along the canals for over three hours, and our festive celebrations continued with the annual SR awards. This year the award that everyone was aiming for was ‘Office Joker’ (well done Actors Booker Daisy, a second year holding the crown!) so there was a lot of laughter to go around, and it was a brilliant way to end an already magical evening.

On the second day, we set off exploring the city again, we delved into local culture, shopped for tulip bulbs and tried all the local food (which was incredible). Amsterdam was decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations, which made the city glow at night! 

We said farewell to Amsterdam on Monday morning, ready to return to our lovely head office. Despite the early start, the memories of our weekend were a topic of conversation, and we enjoyed sharing all the photos and videos we captured over the weekend (lots of laughs were exchanged!).

Reflecting on this amazing trip, the SR team created memories that will last a lifetime. From exploring the cultural richness of Amsterdam to the joyous festivities of Christmas, every moment was a highlight.
