The ground floor of our building is home to the Sandra Reynolds team of bookers and is always a buzzing hive of activity... Each month we share a little bit of news from the booking desk, so read on to find out what we have been up to during December!

This month is an exciting one. We raised money for the wonderful Break Charity, celebrated Christmas with family and friends and there's also a new team member to meet....

We have been listening to: Of course, it has to be Christmas songs!

We have been reading: How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie - a Waterstones bestseller and a book we've all passed around the office to read.

Favourite brands we’ve worked with: Nestle, Mercedes, Glaze, Adnams, Network Rail, John Lewis, TUI, Manolo Blahnik.

What's next for SR: We are getting ready for a brand new year with even more opportunities for our models and clients... stay tuned!

"SMILE FOR THE CAMERA"

It was our own turn to be in front of the camera in November. Having moved into our new head office earlier this year we wanted to update our photos and show off our gorgeous new building to you all, so we organised an office photo shoot day... Talented photographer Matt Keal took photos of each room, which you can view on our new blog post 'our forever head office' as well as updating our team photos. It was a day full of laughter as we captured some off-guard images too and got the office dogs to strike a pose.

MEET PEPPA...

We'd like to introduce a very special new member to the SR family... Peppa the Minature Daschund! Digital Designer Lily has started bringing Peppa into the office to get her used to the team and the #OfficeDogLife. With an array of colourful jumpers in her doggy wardrobe, Peppa is a little fashionista and we always look forward to seeing what new outfit she has on. Some of Peppas favorite activities include snuggling with her little elephant, walkies, and attempting to eat the house plants. We also asked Lily to name Peppa's most favorite thing about the SR office, here is what she had to say:

"Peppa loves playing with all her dog pals and hugging everyone in the office!"

DECK THE HALLS!

We just couldn't wait any longer... Towards the end of November, we decorated the office for Christmas. We had such a lovely day putting the decorations up and celebrating with mince pies and Christmas music, we really got into the festive spirit. Another reason we wanted to decorate early is to get prepared to host our Christmas parties.  On the 19th, we opened our doors to staff family and friends for a night of festivities. We also wanted to give back to our local community this Christmas so Juniors Booker Poppy organised a charity raffle. This Christmas we are fundraising for Break charity to support them in their vital work for children and young people.

THE BIG EVENT

THE SR CHRISTMAS PARTY & FUNDRAISER FOR BREAK CHARITY

To celebrate the end of a magical 2022 we hosted our first Christmas party in our new head office! We danced the night away with family and friends and enjoyed fabulous canopies and prosecco all night long. What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of such an amazing year! And what better place to do it than in our new head office? We had so much fun with everyone that was able to attend the party, and it was great to meet up with old colleagues too.

Juniors Booker Poppy, Actors Booker Daisy, and Stills Booker Georgia hosted our Christmas raffle at the end of the evening which was a fundraiser for Break Charity. Here is some more information about Break...

Break gives vulnerable children and young people the time, support, and care they need to achieve their full potential. Whatever a child’s start in life, they believe that with the right support there is no limit to what they can achieve. Through innovation, lifelong relationships, and keeping our young people at the heart of what they do, they are transforming futures and changing lives. So this Christmas we wanted to help them 'Be There' for every vulnerable child, just like any parent would.

A huge thank you to all the local companies who generously donated raffle prizes for our fundraising event. It was a great success, raising more than we could have hoped for. Here are the companies that kindly donated:

We are overwhelmed by everyone's generosity, having managed to raise an astounding £536 from our raffle alone!  When added to our other funds and then doubled by our Managing Director, Tessa, made a total of £1224 for Break - we are so pleased. 

Thank you to all those who attended on the night, we really enjoyed celebrating with you all!

RECENT WORK & NEW FACES

As a busy London-based model agency, we provide models and talent for both photographic campaigns and TV commercials for some of the worlds best-known brands. Our team of bookers get to know each model and their individual talents so they know the perfect suggestions for each creative brief. Our fabulous team of bookers have worked very hard this year and over the last couple of weeks alone our models have been booked for brands including Plantur 39, H Samuel, Superdrug Opticians, Tanqueray, and Wallis.

OUTTAKES!

What a busy couple of months for the booking desk team - we have loved every second! Some more highlights include... Head Booker Jessica moved into her new home, Stills Booker Jemima chose her dream wedding dress, we celebrated a few victories for the England football team in the World Cup (go three lions!). We also had four birthdays during November and December, Juniors Booker Sarah, Stills Booker Natasha, Digital Designer Lily and Actors Booker Katie, who celebrated her 18th - so, of course, the booking desk team had to take her out for a bottomless brunch!

We have also received an array of beautiful Christmas gifts from our models and clients this month which we are so grateful for. We can't wait to see what the new year brings for our talent, we know it will be magical... From all of us here at SR, happy holidays and a happy new year!
